Dr Thilan Bartholomeuz
Locality Lead (Mid-Notts)
Thilan is the NATH board member for Mid-Nottinghamshire. He has been in General Practice since 2008 having completed his GP training in Nottingham. He is a GP Partner at Abbey Medical Group, Blidworth and Ravenshead, and a GP Trainer for Sherwood Forest GP Speciality Training Programme.
Thilan is the Clinical Lead for Mid-Notts Integrated Care Partnership (ICP). He is a member of Nottingham and Nottinghamshire ICS Board and the ICS Clinical Executive Group. He is the ICS Clinical Lead for Cancer. He is also the Clinical Director for Targeted Lung Health Check Programme in Mansfield and Ashfield.

Dr Nigel Cartwright
Locality Lead (South Notts)
Nigel is one of our NATH Board members and is the locality representative for South Notts Integrated Care Partnership. He is also NATH’s Finance and Remuneration Sub-Committee Lead. He is a longstanding GP at the Orchard Surgery where he has been a partner for 28 years and is the Clinical Director of Rushcliffe PCN where he leads on workforce development for them.
He has an interest in education and training – having been a GP trainer for over 20 years, and was previously a Programme Director on the Nottingham GP Training scheme. With a colleague, he established the Rushcliffe Training Hub in 2015, and with others founded NATH.

Dr Sarah Layzell
Chair
As Chair of the NATH Board Sarah is responsible for holding the team accountable to its goals as outlined in its yearly strategic plan. This includes delivering high quality multi-professional health care training in the postgraduate arena whilst ensuring value for money for NHS England.
Sarah is responsible to the GP Dean in the East Midlands for delivering the training of nearly 500 GPs in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. She has been a GP and partner in Sneinton for 25 years and realises the importance of training our own workforce, and she has a masters in Inter-professional Education.
