Are you a manager, leader, or aspiring leader who wants to better support your workforce and help create a truly inclusive culture across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire? 
 
We are recruiting up to 16 Neurodiversity Workforce Champions to help embed understanding and acceptance of neurodiversity across our system. Champions will play a key role in promoting inclusive practice, supporting colleagues, and helping teams recognise the strengths neurodivergent individuals bring to the workplace. 
 
You don’t need to be an expert - just someone passionate about making a difference.

Training information 

Completing both the Aware Webinar and Champion Workshop means that you will become a Thrive Neurodiverse Standards Employer. 

Aware Webinar 

The aims of this 1-hour session are to: 
 
Increase your understanding of neurodiversity 
Learn how to properly support neurodiverse individuals in the workplace and more importantly help to unlock their huge potential 
 
The Aware Webinar is a pre-requisite for the Champion Workshop. 
 
Key learning outcomes centre around: 
 
Understanding neurodiversity and key conditions 
Challenging myths and stereotypes 
Recognising the impact of lived experience 
Understanding communication, social, and sensory differences 
Promoting inclusive practice through reasonable adjustments 
 
Completing the course provides CPD Certification and Digital Learning Guide. 

Champion Workshop 

This workshop is designed for anyone that wants to educate and change the way that neurodiversity is viewed in your company. 
 
The aims of this workshop are to: 
 
Lead acceptance of neurodiversity across the workplace and beyond 
Help facilitate and change the culture in your workplace around neurodiversity and its acceptance 
 
Key learning outcomes centre around: 
 
Understanding neurodiversity and common conditions 
Building awareness of executive functioning in daily life 
Recognising and support mental health and emotional responses 
Creating inclusive and supportive environments 
Developing effective, compassionate communication 
 
Completing the course provides CPD Certification, Digital Learning Guide and 3 Years Access to the NeuroRocket Online Learning Portal.
