Polypharmacy Action Learning Sets
Learn the complex issues around stopping inappropriate medicines
Are you a GP or prescribing healthcare professional?
Gain confidence in, and understanding of the complex issues surrounding stopping inappropriate medicines safely by attending a Polypharmacy Action Learning Set (ALS).
5 cohorts will be running across October 2025 – May 2026. Each cohort consists of three sessions each lasting 1.5 hours and delivered online. Delegates must attend all three sessions.
Open for any prescriber in primary or secondary care in the Midlands
Need well-established prescribing experience / prescribe and review medication regularly
Gain access to a comprehensive resource pack on completion
Fully funded for prescribers
Waiting list available when cohorts become fully booked. This training is brought to you by the Midlands Training Hubs Network in partnership with Health Innovation East Midlands. The hosting Training Hub will be rotated each cohort.
Our cohort expressions of interest are now closed (on Fri 23 Jan). We will let people know if they are booked on by Fri 6 Feb. Cohort sessions are Mon 23 Feb, Mon 9 March, Mon 23 March.
The final cohort is being run by Derbyshire Training Hub (The Hub Plus). You will need to register on their LMS booking system to apply. Details below:
Register for Session 1: 17th April | 12:30 – 14:00
Register for Session 2: 1st May | 12:30 – 14:00
Register for Session 3: 15th May | 12:30 – 14:00
You will need to register onto all three sessions, as they follow on from each other as part of the Action Learning Set.
