The University of Nottingham is running Physiotherapy and Sport Rehabilitation Practice Educator Courses. These courses are a mix of self-directed study and a series of workshops. These workshops are suitable for people that are new to supervising students in practice settings and people that have been supervising students in practice settings for a while but need to complete an update session. 
 
1. New educators 
 
These workshops are suitable for people that are new to supervising students in practice settings. 
It will consist of: 
 
Self-directed study - an online resource will be emailed to you 7-10 days before the date of the first workshop (allow approx. two hours to complete). 
Workshop 1 - a two-hour online workshop via MS TEAMS. 
Workshop 2 - a two-hour online workshop via MS TEAMS. You are expected to supervise a 
student, or be involved with the supervision, between the dates of the two workshops. This 
will enable you to participate in the discussions and group tasks more effectively in 
workshop 2. 
 
Dates: 
• 23 September 2021 and 18 November 2021 - 10.00-12.00 
• 11 November 2021 and 10 March 2022 - 10.00-12.00 
• 19 January 2022 and 25 May 2022 - 13.00-15.00 
 
2. Updates 
 
These workshops are suitable for people that have been supervising students in practice settings for a while but need to complete an update session. 
It will consist of:
