Birmingham City University (BCU) Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) Apprenticeship Event

The BCU SLT department would like to invite professional leads / apprenticeship leads / key individuals involved in apprenticeship development for their organisation to attend an online event organised by Victoria Lundie, BSc SLT Course Leader and Helen Jenkins, SLT Head of Department. 
The morning will provide an overview of following areas: 
Benefits of apprenticeships 
Funding / the levy (for both NHS & independent providers 
Support BCU can offer 
Support HEE can offer 
Models of delivery 
Placement considerations 
Entry requirements 
Employer involvement/next steps 
We have invited a current AHP apprentice to talk to you about their experiences. Gerri Nevin (BCU faculty lead for apprenticeships) and Liz Sahu (Midlands Apprenticeship Relationship Manager from HEE will also be in attendance to support the session). We will ensure that there is opportunity for discussion and questions.
