Nottinghamshire Alliance Training Hub Becomes an Organisational Member of the Queen’s Institute for Community Nursing

We’re delighted to share that Nottinghamshire Alliance Training Hub (NATH) is now an organisational member of the Queen’s Institute for Community Nursing (QICN) 🎉

This is an exciting milestone that strengthens our commitment to supporting community and primary care nursing across Nottinghamshire. Through this membership, we’re opening up access to nationally recognised expertise, resources and learning opportunities that are designed to support nurses at every stage of their career.

What This Membership Means for Our Primary Care Workforce

QICN is a national charity dedicated to improving the quality of nursing care for people in their homes and communities. Becoming an organisational member means that our local workforce will soon be able to benefit from:

Access to specialist learning opportunities focused on community and primary care nursing

Evidence-based resources and guidance to support safe, effective practice

National events, webinars and professional development opportunities

A strong professional voice championing community nursing across the UK

This membership aligns closely with our priorities around workforce development, retention and wellbeing, ensuring nurses feel supported, valued and equipped to meet the evolving needs of patients and communities.

What Happens Next – Getting Ready to Sign Up

We’ll be sharing more information shortly about how colleagues across Nottinghamshire can access QICN opportunities through our organisational membership.

In the meantime, we encourage you to familiarise yourself with what’s available and be ready to register your interest when sign-up opens.

This is an important step in strengthening community nursing practice locally, and we’re excited about the opportunities this partnership will bring for our workforce and the patients they support.
