Early Career GP Conference East Midlands 2023. Thursday 9 March. Holywell Park Conference Centre, Loughborough

Event overview

After the roaring success of last year’s First 5 GP Conference, we are excited to bring you an even bigger and better event which builds on the programme of last year! We will take head on the new opportunities for growth, innovation, and inspiration that 2023 will bring.

The date is set for Thursday 9 March 2023 at Holywell Park Conference Centre, Loughborough.

This day-long, FREE conference is themed around creating and strengthening links between us all.
It aims to give us the tools and the confidence to thrive in this brave new world of primary care. It will inspire us to new heights of personal and professional development, healthy professional growth and kickstart our early career.

You may have noticed the change in name?

We believe that being “Early Career” is a state of mind!

Whilst this conference is aimed at GPs in their first few years of practice, we welcome anyone that wants to expand their skills, try new things, and find out what a career in general practice could be like for them. *

What to expect

The programme will treat delegates to a wealth of inspirational speakers describing their experiences trailblazing exciting careers, prevailing against the odds and their visions for the future of general practice.

The day will also address some of the areas which many newly qualified GPs find difficult or wish to explore in greater depth such as finance, medicolegal issues, partnership, and portfolio working.

We know that our programme will keep our next generation of doctors invigorated, informed, and inspired. It will re-energise us all to bring fresh ideas about the endless possibilities that a career in General Practice offers us.
