Who can attend Nottinghamshire Alliance Training Hub (NATH) events?

Our events are aimed at, and tailored to, colleagues working in primary and community care within Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, UK. Priority will be given to these individuals if events are fully booked, and tickets can be withdrawn from individuals who do not meet our audience requirements.

Some events are opened up to a wider area. For example, we might collaborate with Training Hubs across the region, and offer events to all primary and community care colleagues working in the Midlands.

If you are from outside of Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, please be aware treatment pathways and prescribing formulary may be different from your local area.

If you are attending from outside the UK, some healthcare information may be misleading or irrelevant to your country’s practices and standards.

Will I be charged for non-attendance without cancellation?

There is a 48 hours’ cancellation policy notice for some events. This may apply to in-person events, for commissioned training, MPSU Clinical Supervision and for any full-day online training. This will be clarified on the EventBrite page and email confirmation for your booking. Should you fail to cancel your place and not attend the training, your employer may be liable to pay the Nottinghamshire Alliance Training Hub £25 towards the cost of the training event.

How do I add the event into my calendar?

Eventbrite bookings do not automatically appear in your calendar. We suggest you manually add the date and time to your calendar after booking onto one of our events, and save your booking email within the appointment so you have everything in one place. You will also receive reminder emails closer to the date.

Where do I find the Zoom / Teams link to join online events?

After booking onto an event, add the date and time to your calendar as a reminder. Email reminders are sent out 2 days prior to the event and 2 hours before the start time. This will include a session register link. 15 minutes before the event, click this link to register your attendance (and receive your certificate if applicable). On signing-in, you will then be presented with the Zoom / Teams link to join the event. You may be asked to register with Zoom / Teams to enable us to create a secure and safe learning environment for all.

Please remember to check your junk mail for reminders about events.

What do I do if I am having issues joining the online event via Zoom / Teams?

Email us on alliance.hub1@nhs.net. A member of the team will be monitoring this during the event to assist anyone having issues with joining.

Can I still join the event if I am running late?

Yes! If you know you are running late, and are able to inform us, please email alliance.hub1@nhs.net and we will pass on the message to the organiser. Otherwise, simply join the Zoom / Teams meeting link, or arrive to the venue for in-person events.

Where can I find the agenda / timetable?

Where available, event agendas can be found on the individual Eventbrite page description. Some events may not have a timetabled agenda.

When will I receive my certificate of attendance?

For events which state they will provide a certificate of attendance, these will be produced within 10 working days after the date of the event. The event’s Eventbrite page will specify if certificates are produced for event attendance. Certificates will be sent from alliance.hub1@nhs.net.

When will the recording of the online event be published?

For events which were recorded, we aim to get them live on our YouTube channel within 1 month of the event date. This is subject to Creative Team capacity. We are aware there is a back-log of events over 2021-22 and we are working through them. You will be informed if the event is recorded. Where possible, we remove delegate names / video screens from the recordings.

Not all events are recorded, e.g., for peer support groups, so that sensitive or confidential topics can be freely discussed in a safe space.

Will you circulate the presentation slides and materials?

If the presenter is happy to, then yes, presentation slides and materials will be circulated via email to those who attended the event. These will be sent from alliance.hub1@nhs.net.

Can I access the presentation and recording if I am unable to attend on the day?

Presentation slides (if available to circulate) will only be sent to those who attended. Recordings, once uploaded to our YouTube channel, will be available to watch by anyone.

Why do we ask for Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) information?

We want to ensure that our events are accessible and reaching our diverse workforce. Your data helps us identify if we are not reaching particular groups and need to work on promotional methods to ensure we are seen, and you can book on.

EDI information is optional to provide us – you can select ‘Prefer not to say’ if you would like to.

Why do we ask for Primary Care Network (PCN) information?

Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Integrated Care System (ICS) has 23 PCNs. Our events are open to all primary and community care staff in the county. We want to ensure that all PCNs hear about our development offers and take advantage of them. If we see that some PCNs have little attendance, we can reach out to them to see how we can better inform them of our free training offers.

Why do we ask for your NHS email address? / Can I register with my personal email address?

Our events are targeted to the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire primary and community care workforce. Signing up with your nhs.net email address helps us verify you as our target audience. If an event is fully booked and there is a waiting list, priority will be provided to those who register with an nhs.net email. Tickets may be withdrawn from individuals who do not meet our audience requirements. You can register with a personal email address; however it is not advised.

I work outside of Nottinghamshire. Can I attend your events?

Our events are aimed at, and tailored to, colleagues working in primary and community care within Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, UK. Priority will be given to these individuals if events are fully booked, and tickets can be withdrawn from individuals who do not meet our audience requirements.

Some events are opened up to a wider area, for example, we sometimes collaborate with other Training Hubs across the region, and could offer events to all primary and community care colleagues working in the Midlands. If you are attending from outside the UK, some healthcare information may be misleading or irrelevant to your country’s practices and standards.

Some of our Continuous Professional Development (CPD) events have larger ticket numbers, so could accommodate individuals who work outside of Nottinghamshire.

If an event falls over my lunch break, can I eat during the session?

Yes! Feel free to bring your lunch with you.
