On the 5th June 2024, NATH hosted their first FCP conference to aid current clinicians working in primary care via the new ARRS scheme roles. We had some brilliant speakers presenting to multiple professions including Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Paramedics, Dietitians, Nurse Practitioners and ACPs.
We covered a range of topics requested by the primary care clinicians of Nottinghamshire in the annual Training Needs Analysis, this included:

Autism and ADHD pathways in primary care
Managing Menopause in primary care
The Top 10 Medications
How to manage the unwell patient for FCPs
Managing mental health distress for FCPs
"
It was informative and well-designed covering a wide scope of interest for different FCPs
We aim to continue to deliver education sessions to Primary Care clinicians, after some great discussions we are now planning more sessions to help you in your role from your feedback. If you want any support in education or career development, please contact your ambassador.
