CityCare are offering free SSSA training (via Teams and face-to-face) for Practice Nurses. 
 
All Practice Supervisor and Practice Assessor sessions are face-to-face and will be in Aspect Business Centre (CityCare Learning Centre), unless informed otherwise.  
 
The Learning Centre can be found on the Ground Floor of Aspect House, Aspect Business Park, Bennerley Road, Bulwell, Nottingham, NG6 8WR. 
 
The Practice Supervisor/Assessor update sessions are completed via teams (invites will be sent closer to the time). 
 
Staff are welcome to book on either session as required or welcome to complete both in the same day. Certificates and resources will be sent following the session. Certificates should be shared with your organisation's Practice Learning teams for their records. 

Practice Supervisor 

This training is for all registered Health and Social Care Professionals who wish to be a Practice Supervisor for Student Nurses. This session goes through all information relevant to the supervision of student nursing. This training will lead to the qualification of Practice Supervisor, no further training is required for this role.

Practice Assessor 

Complete this training if you have already completed training to be a Practice Supervisor and wish to become a Practice Assessor. This session will cover giving feedback, identifying an underperforming student, key roles as an assessor and resources for escalation and support. This session is all that needs to be completed to be a qualified Practice Assessor, no further training will need to be completed for this role.
