Why did you want to take on this role / what attracted you to this role and NATH?

I'm really interested in this role because it's all about helping the people who work in healthcare. I care about making a difference, and supporting doctors, nurses, and other healthcare workers is something that feels important to me. They do such meaningful work, and being part of a team that gives them the tools and support they need to do their jobs better is something I’d be proud of. The purpose to empower the healthcare workforce is something that really matters to me.

What is your career background?

Before this role, I worked in several marketing positions and have built up 4 years of experience in the field. Throughout my career, I’ve gained hands-on experience across different areas of marketing, from strategy and content creation to campaign execution. In addition to my full-time roles, I’ve also completed multiple internships, which gave me a strong foundation early on and helped me develop practical skills and a deeper understanding of the industry.

What qualifications / training helped you progress into this role?

Bachelor’s in Mass Media
M.Sc. in Advertising and Marketing Communications
CIM Level 4 Qualification

What are your responsibilities at NATH?

In my role, I support a wide range of communications and engagement activities to raise awareness of our services and strengthen our presence across digital platforms. This includes managing social media, newsletters, our website, and a dedicated app, as well as creating content, designing materials, and planning campaigns tailored to various audiences. I also play a key role in internal communications, event promotion, video editing, and performance evaluation.

Alongside communications, I contribute to business administration by providing customer service, organising meetings and events, maintaining standard operating procedures, and training team members. I work closely with partners across organisations, champion Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, and support team functions during busy periods or staff absence. My role is both strategic and hands-on, focused on improving engagement, visibility, and operational effectiveness.

How would you like to ensure your work is accessible to all and promotes equality, diversity and inclusion?

I aim to make my work accessible and inclusive by using clear, jargon-free language, ensuring digital content meets accessibility standards, and tailoring communications to reflect the needs of diverse audiences. I will also actively seek feedback, complete equality impact assessments, and consider different perspectives to promote equity and inclusion in everything I do.

What are the top 3 things you would like to achieve over the next 6 months in the role?

Over the next 6 months I would like to achieve:

1. Grow Personally and Professionally-Continue developing my own skills, especially in strategic communications and leadership, so I can bring more value to the team and grow in confidence in my role. I’m especially keen to learn from colleagues and contribute in a way that feels both impactful and meaningful.

2. Creative Fulfilment- I really enjoy the creative side of communications, so I’d love to take on a project where I can bring fresh ideas to life, whether it’s a video series, a new branding concept, or a social media campaign. Basically, lead a certain project!!

Favourite holiday destination you would recommend and why?

Sikkim, India. I would highly recommend visiting Sikkim because it offers a unique and breath-taking experience. The towering Himalayas, serene landscapes, and fresh mountain air make it feel like a completely different world. It’s a place where you can truly disconnect, take in nature’s beauty, and feel at peace. You will fall in love with it!!!

Favourite cuisine, restaurant, dish you would recommend and why?

My favourite cuisine is Chinese and the restaurant I want to recommend in Panda Mami in Nottingham City Centre. It serves buffet and has all variety of Cuisines including Chinese. Certainly, the best taste of Chinese I have had in Notts. And the best thing is you get to eat unlimited!!

If you could be any animal for a day, what would you choose and why?

If I could be any animal for a day, I’d choose to be a bird, specifically an eagle. I’d love the freedom of flying high above mountains, cities, and forests, seeing the world from a new perspective. Eagles are known for their sharp vision and calm strength, which I admire. Plus, being able to soar through the sky sounds like the ultimate escape and adventure.

Any recent films / TV shows / books you have watched / read that you would recommend and why?

I have recently watched Lucifer (TV Series) & Ocean gate titan documentary. I would highly recommend to watch the documentary as its very fascinating to see what exactly happened with the company and how ocean is a big mystery.
That's all about me. Thanks for reading!
