Meet The Team: Somalia Carty

Hi, I’m Somalia Carty; I am an Operations and Communications Apprentice. I mainly handle the Nottinghamshire Alliance Training Hub (NATH) social media channels but I also take on a wide range of other admin and communications tasks.

I decided to take on this apprenticeship as I wanted to get some experience in the professional working world and I felt that this job would do just that whilst enhancing my skills in IT and communications. I have a history in a variety of different roles ranging from working in customer service to online Twitch moderation to my time as a personal assistant for a local artist.

I spend most of my time gaming and writing, as I love a challenge and I adore telling stories. To keep active I like cycling and rock climbing.

I am so excited to be working with the NATH team! It’s great to be working with such a diversely talented group and I can’t wait to see what we all can achieve together.
