Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Primary Care Racism and Discrimination Survey
We are pleased to announce the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Primary Care Racism and Discrimination Survey is now live.
This survey is part of a broader strategy to overcome the barriers our workforce faces, addressing racial inequities and understanding the diversity of our Primary Care teams.
There is a substantial body of evidence to support structural racism in the NHS exists. The cost of this behaviour to the NHS in treating a large section of its workforce as non-mainstream is burdensome and often means talent within the Primary Care Workforce is not always fully optimised, negatively impacting patient outcomes.
This survey is modelled on The NHS Workforce Race Equality Standard (WRES) which is active within secondary care.
We encourage everyone to complete this survey; even if you have not experienced impact directly, your voice is still valuable. We want to reassure all responses will be anonymised and handled following GDPR guidance. The survey closes on 28 February 2022 at 23.45.
