Nursing Associate Apprenticeships

This two-year apprenticeship is designed for Healthcare Assistants in Primary Care to become a Band 4 Nursing Associate.
You will qualify as a registered professional with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
Course Delivery
University content is delivered once a week, on a set day, over 45 weeks a year.
Intakes are at Mansfield in October and Clifton in January. Teaching takes place at NTU’s state-of-the-art Institute for Health and Allied Professions.
External placements will be organised by the NTU placement team to allow you to experience the four fields of nursing (adult, mental health, learning disability and children’s) for 15 weeks across the two years.
You will continue to be based at your current GP Practice whilst undertaking the course. You will receive Protected Learning Time to progress in your new role and develop your knowledge and skills.
The role will enable you to perform core nursing skills, deliver and monitor care and administer medications.

Funding:
