Polypharmacy Action Learning Set Training for the East Midlands

Polypharmacy Action Learning Set Training is aimed at colleagues working around prescribing and structured medication reviews.
"I strongly recommend that GPs and other prescribers based in the East Midlands undertake HIEM's Polypharmacy Action Learning Set training. The training has been shown to increase prescriber confidence and knowledge to stop medicines safely, thereby improving patients' quality of life and helping to reduce problematic polypharmacy. The training supports shared decision making, shares useful data and tools, and includes a session with Geriatrician colleagues".

- Professor Anthony J Avery OBE
GP and Professor of Primary Health Care, National Clinical Director for Prescribing (NHS England) and NIHR Senior Investigator in relation to Polypharmacy Action Learning Set Training.
The training is open to any prescriber in primary or secondary care with well-established prescribing experience and who prescribes and reviews medication regularly.

This training provided free to prescribers.
