Practical Support for Career Planning | Jan–May 2026
Published on 16/01/2026
As the NHS continues to undergo significant reform, many colleagues across the system are navigating uncertainty, change and important career decisions. To support colleagues during this period of transformation, a regional support package has been developed to help leaders and teams confidently navigate what comes next.

This offer has been created to support colleagues across NHS England and Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) in the Midlands, recognising the impact that organisational and system change can have on individuals and teams.

A Regional Commitment to People, Talent and Culture

The NHS Midlands People, Talent and Culture Team is committed to providing high-quality opportunities that meet the evolving needs of the NHS workforce. This commitment is especially important during periods of change, where colleagues may be reflecting on their future roles, skills and career direction.

As part of this commitment, a Regional Outplacement Offer has been developed to provide practical, compassionate and accessible support to colleagues across NHS England and Midlands ICBs.
