The NHS IMPACT Operational Improvement Training Programme is now open for registration, designed to equip healthcare professionals with the practical tools, confidence, and insight to lead effective teams and drive improvement in everyday care delivery.

This national training offer is available to Band 6–8a (or equivalent) clinical and operational staff working across all care settings, including primary, community, and acute care.

What Is the Programme About?

The programme goes beyond traditional improvement training. While it includes foundational concepts, its focus is much broader, building essential skills in operational management, team leadership, and strategic problem-solving.

Even if you’ve completed other improvement or quality courses, this programme offers a fresh, comprehensive approach to managing people, processes, and performance in dynamic healthcare environments.

Participants will learn how to:
✅ Tackle day-to-day operational challenges effectively
✅ Lead teams with clarity, autonomy, and purpose
✅ Use data intelligently to drive change, not just measure it
✅ Build sustainable improvement into everyday practice
✅ Create a positive, learning-driven workplace culture
