Opportunity to Place an Occupational Therapy Apprentice in Primary Care
NATH has been approached by an Occupational Therapy (OT) student who is very keen to experience a placement in a primary care setting. The placement required is for 8 weeks commencing the 29th March 2021.
Aims of the placement:
To provide the student with a non-traditional experience of working outside the established role of the OT where there is a perceived value to delivering occupationally based interventions
The student will be supported by a practice-based supervisor and a long arm supervisor who will be a qualified occupational therapist
The student will be expected to produce a piece of work/ intervention that can be used occupationally when they leave placement
