Work together to enhance training and education in primary and community care.
Training hubs are designed to meet the educational needs of the primary and community care workforce, and bring together NHS organisations, community providers and Local Authorities.
Training Hubs are a key enabler of the primary care workforce strategy described in the NHS Long Term Plan and recognised as such by Health Education England, NHS England & NHS Improvement and the Nottingham & Nottinghamshire Integrated Care System.
Nottinghamshire Alliance Training Hub, often referred to as NATH is rooted in its localities. Originally, there were four training hubs in Nottingham - Nottingham City, Rushcliffe, CityCare Urgent Care Centre and NEMS Health Partners. NATH brings together five years of working together to grow practice-based education and workforce development for primary and community care Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.
