Nottingham and Nottinghamshire are going through a period of huge transformational change. Arden University would be very proud to work alongside the various services, to develop the leaders who will provide excellent care to our communities and who are resilient and adaptable to the evolving requirements of an integrated care system as pinpointed in People and Culture Strategy 2019-29. In line with this vision and the requirements as set out above, we are developing a new, Level 7 ICS Senior Leader Apprenticeship Programme (MBA) based upon a foundation of academic excellence and understanding of the systems leadership skills required for future partnership working and success.

Title: ICS Senior Leader Apprenticeship Programme (MBA)

Summary

The Level 7 ICS Senior Leader Apprenticeship Programme (MBA) will provide a comprehensive professional development pathway for ICS leaders to develop their leadership skills and become more effective in systems thinking, adapting to the evolving requirements of the newly integrated care system.

Through this leadership apprenticeship, learners will achieve a Master of Business Administration while they work, applying the knowledge, skills, and positively impact behaviours they develop to support ICS transformation change and improved care outcomes.

This tailored ICA Senior Leader Programme builds on the success of our current universal Level 7 ICS Senior Leader Apprenticeship Programme (MBA), launched in January 2019, and our wider apprenticeship products and services. Retention and progression remain high on our current programme with 85% retention, and as of January 21, a 100% achievement rate for assessments submitted at the end of the Oct- Jan 21 delivery blocks. Across all of our degree apprenticeship programmes, our average retention rate is 87%, progression is 90% and our overall module assessment pass rate is 96%.

Completion Awards and Qualifications

On successful completion of the ICS Senior Leader Programme, learners will receive their Senior Leader Completion Certificate. Additionally, Arden University will award the MBA and the Chartered Management Institute will award a professional Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Leadership. These extra awards will be provided at no additional cost.
