In line with the NMC Standards for Student Supervision and Assessment (SSSA, 2018) staff supporting students should be a practice supervisor – planning and supporting learning. This role can be any registered healthcare professional. The Practice Supervisor Training will outline the role and requirements, run through the ‘MYEPAD’ assessment document on PebblePad software and answer any questions you may have.

SSSA states that an NMC registered nurse can act as a practice assessor for nursing students, and registered nursing associates can be practice assessors for Trainee Nursing Associates. The Practice Assessor Training will focus on the assessment role, placement progression and interviews and the assessment process, including using the MYEPAD on PebblePad as a practice assessor and answer any questions you may have.
