James Billon - Data Analytics Manager
Hi, I’m James Baillon. I’m responsible for providing the Training Hub with data capture, analysis and reporting, whilst supporting project work streams, focusing on Primary and Social Care initiatives. My duties include developing data and funding report templates; collating and analysing engagement data on NATH projects and workstreams; tracking, monitoring and reporting on various funding stream allocations, and providing progress reports and recommendations to inform decision making.

My motivation for the role comes from a desire to help others, and a shared vision for educating, informing and enhancing the primary and community care workforce to deliver the best possible care. Together with my academic and analytical background which has taught me the value of an evidence-based approach to decision-making, I believe the role of data analytics is integral to supporting NATH in making informed and effective decisions.

Studying postgraduate degrees in Psychology and Health Psychology has provided me with a good understanding of healthcare and a solid grounding in data collection, research methods and analysis, which will be valuable for managing, analysing and reporting on workforce data and surveys, and supporting other NATH project work streams.

Prior to joining NATH, I worked for Metropolitan Thames Valley (a provider of affordable housing, care and support services), co-ordinating and reporting on compliance activity at a national level and gaining experience in all aspects of contract administration and management, including procurement, budgeting, relationship management, performance analysis and KPI reporting. I have also worked for local authorities in Nottinghamshire, providing research and project support to Housing & Strategy, Adult Social Care and Senior Leadership Teams.

In my free time I enjoy being with family and friends, reading, hiking, running, playing tennis and eating out.

I am delighted to have joined such a caring, friendly and supportive team, and look forward to working together to achieve our goals.
