What are your roles outside the ARRS Ambassador position?

Health and wellbeing coach.

Why did you want to take on the role of ARRS Ambassador? How will you be a good advocate for your role?

I took this role to help increase the awareness of the health and wellbeing service across Nottingham and Notts. I hope to educate the multi-professional workforce about what the service offers and how to refer.

I am passionate about the health and wellbeing role and believe this intervention can make a difference to a patient’s long-term health by minimising the need of seeing a GP.

What are the top three things you would like to achieve as part of the ARRS Ambassadors team?

Create a good working relationship with my ARRS ambassador peers.
Create a peer support network for all HWBC coach in Nottingham/shire.
Increase the awareness of the service, how to refer? Development opportunity for current HWBC via NATH.

What are your initial aims and plans to connect your role peers across the whole of Nottingham and Notts to develop a community of practice? How can they get in touch to join this network?

My initial plans are to reach out to all those in Health wellbeing lead positions across the city, develop a poster about the role and send it across to all PCN Managers to share with their practices and networks.

How would you like to engage and collaborate with PCN/Practice management teams to support the ARRS workforce?

Rather than creating new workshops and meetings for PCN Management to make time to attend, I would use the approach of attending existing meetings etc. My aim is to contact PCN managers and ask for dates of meeting where I can join. I will also support the development of a survey to help develop a peer network for Health and wellbeing coaches.

What do you like to do in your free time?

Spending time with my children and family, playing board games, baking, going on long walks.

Favourite holiday destination you would recommend?

Bangladesh is my place of birth. No Place like home.

If you could be any animal for a day, what would you choose and why?

Panda, I love to eat, lounge around and gets lots of cuddles from my children.

Any recent films or TV shows you have watched that you would recommend?

I would recommend a film called the railway men, which was based on a true story.

What are you looking forward to most over the next six months of the project?

Working with a full team of ARRS ambassador. Talking part in meetings across all PCN promoting the HWBC service. Speaking with HWBC outside of Nottingham and leaning about how the do the role. Educating new recruits on NATH training opportunities and supporting staff to undertake training.
