The Energetic NA

So, I just qualified as a fully-fledged Nursing Associate and gained my NMC Pin. Two years of life juggling, new experiences and Harvard referencing paid off! I have loved every minute of the last two years and feel a little lost without my university day.

Any Student Nursing Associates out there... carry on, enjoy the challenges and believe in yourself. I have a new badge, a new sign on my door and new clinics set up at my GP practice and I feel incredibly proud of my achievements.

So, what is next?

As NATH NA Ambassador I want to raise awareness of the NA role and the benefits of developing one! I plan to work as an NA with no view to ‘topping up’ at present as I feel I need to consolidate my knowledge and reap the rewards of my hard work! I am planning to continue my personal development by signing up to training courses, being professionally curious and always looking to improve practice.

If you work in the Nottingham area in Primary Care as a TNA or NA I would love to hear from you about your experiences and work together to celebrate our roles!
