Spirometry Package including ARTP assessment access

Are you offering spirometry to patients in your practice / Primary Care Network (PCN)?
Do you need to upskill staff with relevant training?

The Integrated Care Board (ICB) were given learning licences by NHS England (NHSE) for an online ‘Spirometry Performing and Reporting (Interpreting)’ course with Association for Respiratory Technology & Physiology (ARTP) assessment to help restart the service.

The course is suitable for Nurses, Nursing Associates, and Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) that might undertake both elements of the spirometry course and prepares staff for the ARTP assessment, which is included in the licence.

We are holding licences for the four Place-Based Partnership localities across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. The course is offered by Education for Health. The course is free to staff because of funding the ICB received.

Simply Spirometry: Performing Course (online)

We also have some licences for the ‘Spirometry Performing Only’ course without the ARTP assessment which would be suitable for Healthcare Assistants. It is an online course with Rotherham Respiratory. We can offer the course for free because we have used our CPD funding to purchase the licences.

How to obtain a learning licence

Complete our online Spirometry Learning Licence Request Form with your name, email, role, practice and PCN.
