Develop a communication plan to include promotion of the Faculty, website, social media and networking events

Understand our current and future workforce, provide bespoke analysis to support identification of risks, aid workforce planning and measure improvement

Projects 

Develop an early years progression programme linked to career pathways for Pharmacists. 
 
Activities include: 
 
Portfolio Band 6 equivalent posts linking Primary Care Network (PCN) / GP posts with community pharmacy 
Portfolio Band 6 equivalent posts linking other sectors 
Improved Band 6-7 opportunities in acute care 
Promote use of portfolios to start on credentialing process 
Understand the barriers for Community Pharmacy to take on extended roles and identify possible system-wide solutions. 
 
Activities include: 
 
Liaise with Community Pharmacy Clinical Lead and Community Pharmacy England (CPE) 
Promote Independent Prescribing 
Recruitment and retention. 
 
Activities include: 
 
Promote wellbeing 
Promote equality and diversity 
Work with CARE4Notts and Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) 
Pharmacy promotional project 
Scope the current provision for technicians pre and post qualification across all sectors to identify the barriers and opportunities for increased capacity. 
 
Activities include: 
 
Review and develop training opportunities 
Define career pathways 
Increase apprenticeships provision including cross sector training 
Agree a local definition for Advanced Pharmacy Practice to take on extended roles and identify possible system-wide solutions. 
 
Activities include: 
 
Define Advanced Pharmacy Practice and compare to Advanced Clinical Practitioners (ACPs) 
Understand requirements to start credentialing process across Integrated Care System (ICS) 
Develop consultant pharmacist roles for ICS 
Develop a toolkit of resources for working in cross sector posts (Pharmacists and Technicians) – support by Provider Collaborative’s work. 
 
Activities include: 
 
Understand the barriers to cross sector working 
Provide a suite of resources to help facilitate cross sector working
